Recently, Kyle Larson spoke about the challenges he faced on the road to his maiden Cup title. The Hendrick driver has been on Cloud nine ever since he wrapped it up. Earlier, a number of fans sent the reigning champion various questions and a fair number of them were interesting. One of them pertained to what the most difficult race for him was.

Larson said, “The most challenging part of our season was the race at the Roval. That would probably be the second coolest win that we had besides the championship win. So, let’s call it the third best win. Just the perseverance we had to have as a team to get through that race with the battery and alternator issue. Cliff [Daniels] leading everybody through, getting that change fixed.

“Then, not ever thinking that I had a shot to win, even once we got repaired. I was just trying to get away and get through there and get onto the next round, then we happened to win. So that was a very special, proud moment as a driver, all the hard work it took to get that done.
