Not only taking part but winning in a multitude of different forms of racing, Kyle Larson is undoubtedly one of the most talented drivers in NASCAR’s stable. The 2021 Cup Series champion has bagged several titles in dirt racing at the Kings Royal, Knoxville Nationals, and the Chili Bowl Nationals. Competing part-time in the Xfinity and Truck Series, the 410 Sprint Cars, the Dirt Super Late Models, and even midgets aside from a full-time Cup Series, it seems Larson’s racing thirst remains unquenched.
In light of this, Dale Earnhardt Jr on his podcast recently revealed a major Kyle Larson secret. But the HMS #5 driver had let the cat out of the bag prematurely, ruining Junior’s surprise.

The talks of a secret meeting between Dale Jr and Kyle Larson were afloat for quite some time. As everything was kept under wraps tightly, NASCAR fans were left speculating about the mystery. Revealing his secret, Dale Earnhardt Jr on his ‘Dale Jr Download’ podcast answered a question regarding tomorrow’s CARS Tour race at Caraway.
When asked if Kyle Larson will be competing in the CARS Tour, Junior replied, “That’s right. Tomorrow at Caraway, Kyle Larson is going to be racing a Junior Motorsports late model stock car.”
Revealing how he and Larson decided on his debut date and keep it a secret, Dale Jr said, “I asked Kyle if he would be interested in competing in the CARS Tour, gave him a few dates, this is the one he chose. We kept it a bit of a secret. You know he’s out racing, doing all these things, he’s on vacation and the Cup Series had an off week. So trying to get him to the shop, get him fitted in the car and comfortable, we had to make sure that all of that was going to work, and check all those boxes before we said yes, this is happening.”
