Over the past couple of races, Kyle Larson has definitely not endeared himself to anyone. Apparently, last weekend’s coming together with teammate Chase Elliott was the last straw. At the Auto Club Speedway though, his spotter Tyler Monn took the blame for not informing him. In light of this, the defending champion earned a fair amount of criticism for ‘throwing his spotter under the bus’.

According to former Hendrick spotter TJ Majors, there wasn’t much history between Larson and spotter, Tyler Monn. He also highlighted that the #5 driver made a few high-profile mistakes because he and Monn were not in sync. However, Larson recently doubled down and defended his rapport with Monn.

If there has to be an unwritten rule in motorsports, it should be ‘never crash into your teammate’. The California native needs to work on his chemistry, both in his garage and with his teammates.
