Kyle Larson is making an ambitious attempt to compete in both the Indy 500 qualifiers and the NASCAR All-Star race. This has put everybody in the NASCAR community on the edge of their seats. Having aced F12 with a top speed of 232.788mph, Larson is all set to compete in F6 under Indy 500 qualifiers. But here’s the catch: NASCAR All-Star races There’s no way Kyle Larson is going to skip Indy 500 qualifiers for the sake of All-Star. Hence, he’s left with only one choice: finish the F6 race and rush to meet the tight schedule.

Larson is there to win; his eyes are all set on pole position. But his ambition wouldn’t want him to miss the All-Star race. After all, $1M is a good bounty for anybody to make an effort and get there, even if there’s a 1% chance. Meanwhile, X (formerly known as Twitter) is filled with buzz regarding Larson’s return to North Wilkesboro.

This is what Jeff Gluck from AthleticAuto had to say: “The belief is Larson can make it in time as long as he’s leaving pit road for the helicopter by 6:05 p.m. ET. Then he’ll chopper to the airport, fly to NC, chopper to the track. Engines fired at 8:08 p.m. at North Wilkesboro.

The timeline is so constrained that there’s little to no margin for any errors.  Jenna Fryer from the Associated Press also stated, “Because Larson has a can’t-miss departure time of 6:05, #IndyCar is not expecting a ton of media availability out of him. Fast 12 begins at 3:05, he goes out 7th. If he makes Fast 6 it begins at 5:25. He’s on a tight timeline, unless he doesn’t make Fast 6.”

Matt Weaver from Racer emphasized the contingency plans of Hendrick Motorsports, quoting crew chief Cliff Daniels: “There’s only one plan for the All-Star Race. They’re waiting on Kyle Larson to get here tonight. If he does, they’re racing and if he doesn’t, they’re not.” This shows how indispensable Kyle Larson is to HMS.

Kyle Larson had the odds stacked against him for a while until this post came through. This post brought life back to fans who felt relieved after hearing that there’s still hope! But statistically speaking, the hope is as thin as it gets, and the odds are stacked against Larson. Can Larson pull it off?

It’s either make it or break it for Yung Money

Kyle Larson’s timely return to the All-Star race would imply an astonishing display of coordination and determination. The HMS team would be wooed for years to come. This would serve as a reminder for anyone watching that no challenge is a big challenge. It would also raise the eyebrows of Indy500 fans, thereby building the reputation of NASCAR. The efforts of Kevin Harvick wouldn’t go down the drain. In essence, Larson’s return on time for All-Star will give him the kind of momentum needed to achieve his feat this coming Sunday!

On the other hand, the HMS team will have to be ready to face multiple setbacks if Larson doesn’t make it on time. Most importantly, the fans and spectators would be left disappointed. Many of them are eager to root for Larson after his decisive performance in the Indy 500 qualifiers.
