Starting his #5 Chevy at Las Vegas from the front row is 2021 Cup Series champion and Hendrick Motorsports ace speedster, Kyle Larson. Following a disappointing end at Atlanta at the mile-and-a-half-track, Larson is aiming big; to reclaim his throne as the best driver on the current roster. The first step towards that was a stellar qualifying run after practice that put him on the front alongside pole-sitter Joey Logano.
Soon after practice, Larson retweeted out to his teammate, Alex Bowman, with a popular meme template. Now, this absurd yet hysterical response to Ally, Bowman’s primary sponsor, has the fandom scratching their heads, wondering if the speedway specialist was mocking Bowman.

Kyle Larson gets the community thinking over his latest social media post aimed at Alex Bowman
Following Ally’s tweet, lauding Bowman for his practice run – “Practice complete! @Alex_Bowman and the #Ally48 team finish P4 in Group B and P12 overall. The team is overall pretty happy with how the car handled. Qualifying is up next!” Larson came up with a Borat reference of his own, giving him thumbs, and retweeting the HMS partner’s post. However, Larson’s intention was obscure here. Maybe he was mocking Bowman, or was just pulling his leg, nobody knows, as Larson cunningly chose not to write a single word.

Netizens confused over Kyle Larson’s tweet on Bowman’s practice performance
As far as qualifying is concerned, Larson starts from the second spot on Sunday while Logano repeats his pole-grabbing performance to start off from the front. Following Larson at the third spot is Team Penske‘s Austin Cindric, who placed himself above William Byron who is at the fourth spot. As for Bowman, the Daytona 500 runner-up will start his chase from P23.

While the situation is unclear whether Larson was in fact mocking his teammate or he was just going with the trend, fans started to chime in with thoughts. One user noted, “I’m so confused on what I’m actually comprehending with this tweet,” while another said, “Little friendly trolling of your own teammate… love it.”

On the other hand, some were confused and asked, “Is this sarcastic?” “dawg are u trolling?”
Meanwhile, another fan used the same Borat template to comment on the post.
