Racing is not for a certain specific sect of person; in fact, its doors are and must be open for anyone who dreams and aspires to be a racer, irrespective of gender, caste, creed, or nationality. NASCAR and other premier racing promotions have always stood by this; however, not every other individual who has a regressive mindset has this train of thought.
Reacting to a misogynist’s horrendous reaction against Kendra Jacobs, a lady sprint car driver in High Limit Racing, Kyle Larson‘s organization, along with WoO, has come out strongly condemning the demeaning message, putting out a statement against all stereotypes, and taking a stand in Women’s Month, March.

Even during Women’s Month, women continue to have a tough time. The recent row in the racing world triggered an outcry when Kendra Jacobs, a racing enthusiast and a small-time racer, was hurled abuses by a random messenger. What is the reason for the blatant disrespect, you ask? Well, the short answer is her involvement in a male-dominated sport.
“Be better,” wrote Jacobs, who exposed the abuser on her social media, posting a screenshot of his email and spreading the word about the injustice women still face in the sporting world. Standing by Jacobs are Kyle Larson and his High Limit Racing and the WoO, strongly condemning the verbal attack and sending a message to the future generation and a warning to perpetrators.
It’s important that we — 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗨𝗦 — do a better job of making Sprint Car Racing a safe place for women.
Think about how you want to leave the sport for your daughter or future generations.

It was on March 11 that Kendra Jacobs broke the news to her followers, revealing that she was a victim of cyberbullying hurled with misogynistic and discriminatory comments. Some John Michael sent a mail to Jacobs that read, “Hey Kendra. You’re a stupid fu**ing h*.” Despite the offensive comment, Jacobs remained calm, showing her true character.
Excuse the language. But, to go to work and be subject to this type of email from an anonymous person is absolutely unacceptable.
I likely won’t change anything by posting this. But “being silent” and “ignoring” people isn’t changing things either.

Picking up the mail, she put up a post that goes like, “Excuse the language. But, to go to work and be subject to this type of email from an anonymous person is absolutely unacceptable. I likely won’t change anything by posting this. But “being silent” and “ignoring” people isn’t changing things either.” Soon drivers, teams, fans, and organizations came in her support.

WoO in an official statement condemned the act, putting out a well-worded post that read, “March is Women’s History Month. We’ve highlighted several women who have competed with the World of Outlaws, who have worked in our organization and the broader motorsports ecosystem. Unfortunately, there has been an unsettling trend to denigrate women in our sport. It’s disgusting. We can’t stress enough, we do not condone it and there is no place for it in our sport. All people are entitled to be treated with decency and respect. The motorsports industry is no different.”
