Kyle Larson is quickly becoming a fan favorite for the 2024 season, especially with his Indy 500 challenge. But that’s not all the action Larson has delivered upon. When Brad Sweet joined hands with his brother-in-law, he wasn’t expecting just how big of an impact the number 5 driver would have on the series’ popularity.

Sweet spoke about how Sprint Car racing was at its peak and Kyle Larson’s involvement had played a vital role in building that interest. Per Racing America, “It’s not just about Kyle, of course, but he’s such an influencer that he makes a show bigger just by showing up, and I think that spreads to other racers.”

It’s safe to say that Kyle Larson is blessing the fans with some brilliant racing in the High Limit Sprint Car series and exciting goodies off-track for the winter season. His efforts to grow the series in popularity left his brother-in-law with nothing but praises as he concluded, “We think we’re sitting in a really good place in year one of this series. Our goal is to make Sprint Car racing bigger. Kyle is a big part of that and that’s really going to help all of us grow.”
