A class apart from the horde of drivers on NASCAR’s tracks, Kyle Larson’s monster racing talent remains unmatched. Competing full-time in the Cup Series, the Hendrick Motorsports star driver also dips his toes in the Xfinity Series, Truck Series, 410 Sprint Cars, Dirt Super Late Models, and even midgets races.
Aptly named Yung Money for his racing dexterity, Kyle Larson will be adding another star to his name next season as he gears up to join the IndyCar Series. Now at Michigan for the upcoming FireKeepers Casino 400 Cup Series race, Yung Money made a major IndyCar announcement.

Partnering up with the Arrow McLaren team, Kyle Larson will be competing in the 2024 Indy 500. To further up the thrill quotient, Yung Money will also be attempting the Indy-Charlotte double, a grueling back-to-back 1100-mile-long race. Having assigned him the #17 for his debut, the Arrow McLaren team will be revealing Larson’s IndyCar chariot on the 13th of August. But yet to begin test runs or even simulator practice, the HMS star made a big revelation at the Michigan International Speedway.
Asked about the excitement surrounding his IndyCar debut by Frontstretch’s Stephen Stumpf, Kyle Larson let slip his IndyCar test schedule. “I don’t know, I haven’t honestly thought too much past this weekend. So, I’m excited for everybody to see the IndyCar, but as far as like feelings for the 500 and stuff, that’s still so far out. And even testing’s you know far away,” Yung Money said.
Revealing how the test runs were imminent, Larson further added, “So I’ve really just been focused on the race that I’ve been doing right now, and I’m sure once we get in the off-season, you get more bored and thinking about everything, then that’s when you get really excited and probably nervous all at the same time. Sometime in the fall, I’ll get to test.”
Although Kyle Larson is yet to commence IndyCar tests, he did get a closer look at the Arrow McLaren’s team’s inner workings earlier this season.
