Kyle Busch was awfully close to picking up his first win of the season. He could have done so by wrecking Harrison Burton after the latter overtook him in the final lap but chose to accept a runner-up finish at the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Many appreciated how he chose to drive safely. But that also meant that he lost out on the win by just 0.047 seconds. So one can understand how frustrated the Richard Childress Racing driver and his wife Samantha are. But amid all this, they have a reason to smile.
Taking to Instagram, Samantha Busch expressed her disappointment at the result at Daytona International Speedway but conveyed how their daughter manages to cheer them up, even on bad days. What did Samantha share?
“Last night was an absolute 💔 wanted it so bad for the 🎱 team after the luck we’ve had this year. Luckily Lennix can always put a smile on our faces even on the disappointing days. And note yes momma found her a 🥐 onesie for the @cheddarskitchen race 😃”

It’s no secret that Kyle and Samantha Busch have battled infertility problems in the past. The couple was forced to rely on in vitro fertilization (IVF) for their son Brexton Busch, but the road to having their daughter was a lot more complicated. Samantha Busch has undergone multiple fertility treatments, and the couple has had to deal with several failed IVF attempts as well as multiple miscarriages.
However, everything changed in November 2021, when the Busch family announced that they were expecting a daughter via surrogacy. Fast forward to May 2022, and Lennix Key was born, and she was everything they ever wanted in a daughter.
Now while Kyle Busch couldn’t clinch the victory at the Coke Zero Sugar 400, the couple knows how to let go of things and not let it affect their family. Samantha Busch knows that their true prize is their little daughter, who often accompanies her mother on the racetrack.
Samantha Busch’s Instagram post featured candid photos of the Busch family on the racetrack, enjoying the company of their two-year-old daughter. The couple has been ardent supporters of the IVF treatment since the birth of their son Brexton, prompting them to open ‘The Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund’.

Samantha Busch once expressed her gratitude towards the foundation for donating over a million dollars to help couples become parents.
As for Kyle Busch’s career, the Richard Childress Racing driver has one more chance of securing a playoff spot before the regular season ends. The Cup Series will be heading to Darlington Raceway for the Cook Out Southern 500, allowing Rowdy to salvage what has been one of the most frustrating seasons of his career.
Failure to win will mean that the No. 8 Chevy driver will finish the season without a win for the first time in his career, and not make it to the postseason for the first time since 2005. However, he will have his family backing him up as always, and with Richard Childress Racing showing improvements in the last few races, he will head into next season with optimism.
