After the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series ended, most drivers have embarked on some time off. Ryan Blaney and his wife, Gianna Tulio, spent December getting married in Aspen, Colorado. Blaney’s best friend Bubba Wallace and his wife, Amanda Wallace, were in the streets of New York for Christmas with their baby boy Becks.  One driver who has been busy even throughout the off-season is none other than Kyle Busch. Given his latest run with son Brexton at the Tulsa Shootout and then Chili Bowl Nationals, preparation has been at the topmost level.

In such a situation, it is only natural for the wife to get frustrated and yearn for a vacation. Recently, Samantha Busch took to her Instagram and shared a humorous video of the couple. With the Daytona 500 in a few weeks from now, the idea of the Busch couple embarking on a holiday spree seems to be quite bleak.

While Kyle Busch seems to be concentrating on the world of driving, his wife Samantha Busch has been up to some other plans. Mrs. Busch took to Instagram and the two were seen sharing the spotlight inside the SageNet center, between tons of midget cars. Samantha shared a humorous video with the song ‘On The Floor’ by Beyonce, listing out the names of different destinations in the lyrics as potential vacation spots.

The hilarious reel included places like Morocco, London, Ibiza, L.A., New York, Vegas, and even Africa to choose from. However, Kyle Busch was seen suggesting his wife spend the night at the SageNet center instead. She captioned the post as, “Back in Tulsa this weekend for the Chili Bowl!🏁We were supposed to be in Mexico last weekend but that got canceled…racing never does. Wherever I am with you, babe, is my favorite place”. Luckily, Samantha will get another chance to go to Mexico this year as the Cup Series is going international for the first time. In June 2025, NASCAR will host a point-paying race at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez road course in Mexico City!

This cute exchange shows how Samantha Busch is incredibly supportive of her husband’s ventures but loves to pull his leg at the same time. Kyle Busch is notably taking part in the Chili Bowl Nationals for the very first time and Samantha has been right beside him through it all.

It was in the KMB, Lucas Oil, FloRacing No. 51 car that Kyle Busch took on the Chili Bowl Nationals. On the B- Main scheduled for Friday night, Busch ended up finishing in the seventh position which led to him starting F- Main on Saturday. Speaking of the kind of racing expectations he had been setting for himself, Busch said, “Coming in I would have said C main would be pretty good, pretty respectable but we’ll be starting in an F tomorrow so F to E, that’s a little lower than I want it to be but you know I think that’s probably where we’ll be”. Despite the challenges, Busch’s adaptability and competitive spirit have already made a lasting impression among the seasoned Chili Bowl crowd. And with Samantha by his side, he would tell you he has already won.

Samantha shared her appreciation for Busch’s Chili Bowl debut

Kyle and Samantha Busch have been married since 2010 and yet throughout their life, it seems as though the spark is not lost yet. Samantha has been quite appreciative of her husband’s driving stint and this time it was about his debut at the Chili Bowl Nationals. This is quite a difficult track to crack and to add to that, Busch lacks dirt racing experience, making the challenges more profound. Busch managed to put up an impressive run in his first heat race, driving his way to 2nd place from 7th.  These were promising signs and much celebrated by Samantha Busch.

An elated Samantha Busch took to her Instagram account and shared her take on Busch. Her post read, “7 to 2 in his heat”. Busch too opened up about his experience on the tracks. He said, “The initial start was fine. A couple of guys slid off the bottom, and I just told myself, ‘Make sure you wrap the berm and just stay on the berm and stay underneath it all.’ And was able to jump past a couple guys there off of two and felt really good about where I was positioning wise, and then guy in front of me just lost it and won”.

Busch has carved a legacy for himself and with 231 career victories across series, he has built himself into the most prolific driver the NASCAR world has seen. After a tumultuous 2024 season which saw him go winless, will he be able to harness momentum from his off-season runs and get back to the NASCAR tracks to end his winless streak? Time will tell.
