It has only been two weeks since Kyle Busch made the NASCAR headlines for a scuffle with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. The latter connected a right hook, yet fans drummed up Busch’s villain image. The RCR driver is not known to be the calmest person in NASCAR. However, he has furry friends at home who soothe his angry racing habits.
The Busch family has always professed their love for animals, especially dogs. Kyle Busch and his wife, Samantha, have been through heartbreaks and gleeful moments with their pets. However, a furry friend recently visited their garden and it was not a dog.

The Busch family currently stays in a luxurious villa near Lake Norman in North Carolina. They intended to sell the 15,000-square-foot home last year but stalled the decision. However, their decision may come early with bizarre happenings in their garden. Kyle Busch’s wife Samantha Busch recently posted a video as an Instagram story. In it, a black bear could be seen scooting across the green yard.
Samantha Busch wrote: “Welp our garbages were over turned and there was a massive poop in the backyard. Neighbors sent us this guess we now know why 😳😳😳😳.”
Although Kyle Busch is known to be an animal lover, no one knows his reaction to a bear in his garden. Not a good one, most probably. As Samantha revealed last year, Busch also does not like cats as he is allergic to furry felines.
But his love for dogs is no secret. His 2014 Phoenix paint scheme had dog lover written all over it – it featured his three pets at the time, West-Highland Terriers, Suzie and Kelly, along with Lucy, a Pomeranian Yorkie. Unfortunately, Kelly passed away the following year.
But more recently, Piper enlisted in their happy household. A 5-year-old Double Doodle (offspring of a Goldendoodle and Labradoodle), Piper travels with the Busch family to race weekends.

In 2021, Kyle Busch gushed with affection about her: “She’s very, very sweet. Early on, she was very rambunctious and tore up some of my wife’s shoes, but lately she’s been super fun. It’s nice to have her at the racetrack when I come back from a bad day.”
Besides his canine company at home, Kyle Busch has also worked with a rescue shelter for dogs earlier.

In 2021, Kyle Busch made his run at the Nashville race kind of special. His JGR #18 car had a paint scheme featuring rescue dogs up for adoption. This was part of a collaboration with animal rescue shelters like the Humane Society of Charlotte, where Busch paid a visit. He loved petting the furry friends there, especially a Carolina dog mix named Bilbo Waggins.
Emily Cook, marketing and communications manager for the Humane Society of Charlotte, was overjoyed to have the two-time Cup champion over. Cook told Today, “How cool is it anytime to meet a professional athlete, right? But it’s also really fun for us to see who out in the community, out in the world, really loves animals the same as we do, and that was very evident when we met Kyle yesterday. He was telling us stories about his childhood pets and we were just talking back and forth and it was such a great experience really for all of us there.”

Hence Kyle Busch’s love for dogs is well-established. As for loving a chubby black bear though, we have our doubts.
