Following last weekend’s race at the Charlotte Roval, Kyle Busch fared fairly well throughout the race, finishing in a decent 3rd position. However, later on, he went on to post an Instagram story that seemed to contain a cryptic message aimed at Joe Gibbs Racing.

Kyle Busch’s Instagram story had a picture of him getting out of his car, with the caption, “NOTHING BAD HAPPENED.”

Considering the rough patches he has been dealing with in the last couple of races, where his car ran through a series of mechanical issues, this message could be a slight dig aimed towards JGR. At this point, we all are aware that Busch is headed to Richard Childress Racing come next season. So all that remains is for him to push on this last chapter in his 15-year relationship with JGR.

We believe that through that message he just meant that he had an incident-free weekend and that he hopes that JGR would at least give him a car decent enough to finish the season on a good note.

After being eliminated from the playoffs, Kyle Busch’s final season with JGR definitely did not seem to be ending on a good note. However, this would not define the darkest point in the relationship between the team and the two-time Cup Series champion.

Busch has had several times, where his rambunctious behavior, led to multiple feuds with not only other drivers on track but also with his very own team, including crew chiefs and crew members. He has even beefed with members of the media and NASCAR officials. Once he even gave the double bird to a NASCAR official and shouted profanity at his own team, for parking him for a lap after he was caught speeding in the pitlane.

However, it has all not been low’s, Busch has had a majority of his career highs while racing for JGR. Including his two championship wins and the fact that he has led an eye-watering 17,335 laps driving JGR cars. So all that Busch can hope for is that his final few races with a team he has spent the majority of his career with comes to terms and aids him in finishing his 15-year-long stint on a positive note.
