NASCAR Cup Series driver Kyle Busch has been keeping a close eye on his son’s driving progress for a while now. Brexton Busch has been participating in the junior ranks and seems to know his way around. After all, he gets to learn from the best. The father and son duo have got a rare opportunity to race in the same event. The Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout is underway and both Kyle and Brexton are taking part in it.
Busch recently took to Twitter to post a video of his son strapping up in the car. Getting ready for the race ahead. The video was captioned with seven words; “That time of yr w my boy @brextonbusch.” While the duo is participating in the same event, that does not mean they would be racing in the same class.
That would be a bit unfair to the youngsters out on track. Instead, the Richard Childress Racing driver is participating in the winged outlaw class. Meanwhile, his son, Brexton is racing in the Junior Sprints class.

Kyle Busch fans react to him racing with his son
After Kyle Busch posted the video, his fans congratulated and encouraged the duo for the event.
One fan noted that when Brexton grows up, he will start beating his dad in races. Considering Brexton’s interest in racing, it is probable that when Kyle retires, he will be ready and waiting to take the Busch name forward.
Keep it Kyle because one of these days he'll be whooping up on old dad lol and you'll probably enjoy getting beat for the first time. It's so cool to see you be so involved in BRex's racing, thank you for sharing with us. Good luck this year w/@RCRacing. Will sn have new KB shirt

It definitely is lovely to see young Brexton get the opportunity to be racing in the same event as his dad. Later on, a video surfaced on the internet from Brexton’s Twitter handle. He was seen battling for the lead during the final laps of the final restart of the Junior Heats class. Despite coming close, Brexton wasn’t able to clench the lead from the other driver. At the end of the race, he was seen pleading for one more lap. It seems that the blood of a racecar driver flows wild in his veins.
