The Busch family had a long itinerary on their Italy trip. They kicked off the trip in the capital city of Rome on 26 July and Samantha shared some beautiful photos of the Colosseum, the famous Trevi Fountain, the Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican City. The Busch family then headed to Naples, followed by a long boat journey as they traveled to the Amalfi coast. Sounds perfect, right? It was until it was time to head home.

Imagine you are sitting at the airport waiting for your flight and it gets canceled. Won’t you be annoyed? Now multiply that annoyance by four, as that is how many canceled flights Samantha had to deal with.

Sharing this strenuous experience with her followers over an Instagram story, Samantha wrote, “So we got up at 5 am Italy time. got on the flight it was delayed an hour. The flight went great Lennix slept three-four hours, pretty bomb right? awesome. then the plan was to land we had a 3-4 hour turn around to get on our next flight to go to Charlotte. Well on the plane that got cancelled and then the rebooked one got cancelled. So we went with a different airline that booked and then 10 minutes later we got cancelled. Then we decided to get a charter. We used a charter company, waited here for four hours and that got cancelled.”

After a series of cancellations, Kyle, Samantha, and their father finally decided to take the road. For all you road trip lovers, you know how physically challenging a road trip is. Not to mention Busch and Samantha were traveling with their two kids, daughter Lennix, who is two years old, and son Brexton who is 10.

In the next story, Samantha wrote, “Pops and I split a 10hr drive and only stopped once for the bathroom and fuel. Goodnight well good morning but this girl is going to bed!”According to Samantha, their road trip concluded a total of a 30-hour travel journey home, which started at 5 a.m. in Italy. Incidentally, she had a similar experience when they were on their way for vacation to the peninsular country

On her July 26 Instagram story, she shared, “So first of all, our flight was delayed two hours, which is fine, no big deal. Like, I get it. That meant that they did dinner service around 11. So at that point in the plane, Lennix is overtired. So then Homegirl stayed up till I don’t even know. It was over a seven-hour flight, and she stayed up for four and a half hours of it.”

The next day she revealed that she was feeling disoriented after getting only one hour of sleep during their flight. But there was more trouble for her the next day. Samantha revealed in another Instagram story that the first day of the trip ended for them with little Lennix having some problems.

“Lennix hadn’t pooped for three days and proceeded to have a mass blowout during dinner after her mass meltdown, which I’m trying to apologize for profusely in Italian,” Samantha shared. Well, uncertainties and challenges come when you are traveling. But it was not all bad for Samantha.
