Joe Gibbs Racing sacking Kyle Busch after 15 years is the biggest story of the 2022 season. And of late, Busch has finally started retaliating against his soon-to-become former owner. But the keen eyes of a fan, and Busch just validated it noticed one thing that slipped many others.

Unfortunately, Joe Gibbs had been taking action against the two-time Cup Series Champion ever since the season started.

Before the Vegas race, the owner’s Twitter page posted all four drivers. However, Denny Hamlin got the limelight with his entire face and suit visible, while no one knew where Busch was. Well, you could see his car, but not the Champion himself.

And one fan actually noticed that and pointed it out.

Surprisingly enough, the #18 driver replied to the fan himself.

It’s pretty interesting to see him clap back at Gibbs. He did earlier too when he talked about putting his face on JGR’s 200th win so they can look at it forever.

The team owner said, “We talked to Kyle and just told him we’re really pulling for him and [wife] Sam and the family,”, “The rest of his racing career – this guy is going to win a bunch. We know that. He’s a great competitor.”

But he confesses he gave up, too, “I just think we worked hard trying to get everything done there. We couldn’t. I think he’s found a home, and I’ll be willing to bet he’s going to be after it next year, and he’s going to want to win a bunch of races.”
