Earlier, news broke that Kevin Harvick was making his debut in the Superstar Racing Experience. This surprise announcement came mere days after he announced his retirement at the end of the 2023 NASCAR Cup season. Now, it seems that Tony Stewart has been on a massive recruiting spree. This is because he has managed to entice Kyle Busch and Clint Bowyer to compete in his series’ third season.

According to reports, Busch will race at Motor Mile Speedway in Virginia in July. He will also race at the Berlin Raceway in Michigan. The Richard Childress Racing driver will have a familiar foe in the form of Kevin Harvick. Aside from Berlin, Harvick is expected to race at the Stafford Speedway as well. Meanwhile, Bowyer will run at the Stafford Speedway, Motor Mile Speedway, and the SRX finale at the Lucas Oil Speedway.

What did Kyle Busch say about his SRX gig?

Busch told ESPN, “I’ve been working with everyone at SRX trying to get one of their races on my schedule the last couple seasons, and things didn’t work out, so when they announced they were having weeknight races in close proximity to a couple races on the Cup schedule, SRX and I immediately got together to plan something for this year. I’ve won at Berlin in the Super Late Model and I really enjoy racing at these local short tracks across the country, so it’ll be fun to go back and support those tracks and the great fan bases that they have.”

Meanwhile, Bowyer will be back in a race car, for the first time since retiring at the end of the 2020 NASCAR Cup season. One way or another, Busch will face Harvick, and the two will face off against Bowyer. Unfortunately, there won’t be a race where all three drivers will share the track, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
