Last night, Kyle Busch rallied from the back of the grid to win the Baptist Health 200 race in the last laps. He started from the back because his team failed the pre-race inspection in the Gander Trucks Series race.

Busch was driving the No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota in last night’s race. After the pre-race inspection, Busch was punished and had to start from the end of the 38-truck field. And take a “pass-through” penalty through the pits on the first lap.

After that, he started to advance through the field overtaking car after car every lap. The Homestead race winner and Saturday’s pole-sitter Austin Hill took the lead from the start. Local Florida native Ross Chastain and Grant Enfinger battled with Hill for the lead in the early stages.

Kyle Busch lashes out at NASCAR for ‘unfair’ penalty

After the race, Kyle talked about his race and the penalty in an interview. He said, “You’re always concerned about tires being better and having the opportunity to out-show you, but I felt like six laps was just the right amount, any more than that and it probably would have been a different outcome.”

After that, he praised his team for the car. He said, “I knew the Cessna Beechcraft Toyota Tundra here was going to be awesome. Thanks to TRD and Rowdy Energy, everybody that helps us here and makes us so fast and want to say thanks to Big Machine Hand Sanitizer as well, they were on the quarter panel the last two weeks and we didn’t win and now they’re not here and we won.”
