Kyle Busch would be getting a fresh breath of air with the 2023 season. This is mainly because it will be his first season with Richard Childress Racing. After nearly a decade and a half of racing with Joe Gibbs Racing, Busch needed a breather, and he got one finally. Recently, Busch’s new team posted a clip on their social media, and soon Rowdy himself reposted the video and sent out a two-word message to his fans.

The next season is nearly a month away from the green flag. For Busch, this would be a fresh start. Hopefully, he will be able to punch for the lead early on in the season. The two-time Cup Series champion is definitely riding on a high.

Last year, during the first half of the season, it was announced that Busch’s main sponsor M&Ms would be leaving the sport altogether. Panic ensued within the JGR garage soon after. Many speculated if he would even be able to continue racing in NASCAR. However, after months of JGR apparently “trying” to bring in a sponsor, nothing really came through.

That is when rumors started emerging about him jumping base from JGR to another team. While people had many teams in mind, it was only during the latter half of last year that we got to know where he was headed. It was formally announced that Kyle Busch would be racing for RCR from the 2023 season. All Busch wanted at that point was for the season to finish as soon as possible. At the end when the season did finally end, Busch could finally breathe a sigh of relief. JGR finally became a thing of the past for Busch.
