Hailing from a lineage of NASCAR drivers, eight-year-old Brexton Busch continues to achieve significant milestones in the racing world. The grandson of Tom Busch and son of Kyle ‘Rowdy’ Busch has been cementing his place since his debut in 2020. Born to the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, it looks like the young prodigy surpassed his father in achievements on the tracks of the Millbridge Speedway. Yes, that’s right! And he did so by securing a hat-trick!
B-Rex: The perfect descendant of the Busch family
A proud father, Kyle Busch, shared pictures from the race at Millbridge as he updated followers about their performances. He captioned the X post, “Fun night at @MillbridgeRacin, had good speed from start to finish in the @Lucas_Oil #51! Qualified 3rd and finished 4th in the A-Main! Can’t wait to get dirty again in a few weeks.” While he didn’t manage to secure a win, his son sure did, and Kyle Busch couldn’t have been prouder.

He added, “AND @brextonbusch got his third win of the week!” On March 12, at the Millbridge Speedway, Brexton Busch participated in the season opener for the Restricted Winged Micros category. The young prodigy secured two wins on the same day as he drove his KBM No. 18B to victory. Celebrating his achievement with his family, the eight-year-old posted a picture with them on Instagram.
He wrote, “Captured two W’s last night to kick off the year at Millbridge!🏆 The @servpro #18b was flying, can’t wait to see what we can do the rest of 2024!😤 Back at Millbridge tonight in the Restrictor!!🤘🏻” Both Kyle and Samantha Bush commented on the post. While Brexton’s father acknowledged his “nice driving,” his mother wrote, “We are so proud of you!!!”
As he alluded to another race at the Millbridge Speedway in his post, Brexton Busch secured a win again the following day. B-Rex thus delivered an extraordinary performance as he secured a hat-trick win. However, Kyle Busch did not have the best outing. Although he started off well, trying to keep his pace until the end, the 2-time Cup Series champion finished 4th in the A-main, driving his No. 51 Lucas Oil Chevrolet Camero.

As for Brexton, the Millbridge Speedway has been a happy hunting ground for him in 2024. After all, this was where he sealed the 2023 Beginner Box championship back in January! Even back then, his parents couldn’t have been more proud of him. He posted a video of himself celebrating the championship and wrote, “Capped off my beginner box stock year at Milbridge with a win and the championship! Victory tastes good!” Kyle Busch responded, “You da man! Hard work and determination paid off.”
While all that hard work has paid off for Brexton Busch in 2024, the same cannot be said about his father.

The 2024 NASCAR season has not seen Kyle Busch in stable form. In a shocking turn of events, he moved from Joe Gibbs Racing to Richard Childress Racing at the start of the last campaign. Despite the change, Bush didn’t find adapting to the new team too difficult, as he won three races in the previous season. ‘Rowdy’ qualified for the playoffs and finished the season in 14th place.
Although the two-time Cup Series champion hoped for a better start with RCR this season, he is still finding it difficult to meet his expectations. He finished 12th in the season-opening Daytona 500 and completed the race in Atlanta in P3. His position in the NASCAR Cup Series, however, stands at 11th. Busch’s erratic performance has given people the avenue to question his form as he has been unable to deliver consistently impressive ones so far.

That being said, with the 2024 season having only just started, Kyle Busch still has time to prove himself in the upcoming races.
