Noah Gragson has proved to be a force to be reckoned with, especially after his dominating run this season. And fans of the driver know he has been incredible ever since he started racing, and up until he got a seat at Kyle Busch Motorsports. Shockingly though, KBM owner, Kyle Buch compared him to Bubba Wallace.

But he has a good reason for it.

Back in 2017, Gragson won the 2017 Texas Roadhouse 200 at the Martinsville Speedway. And his owner, Busch, reminisces about the time he started racing with the team, as he appreciated his growth, “He’s kind of been off to a slow start a little bit, I’d admit. And hopefully, he would admit. But I think he’s really kind of come into his own the last few weeks, the last few races. He sat on a few poles. He’s feeling a lot more comfortable, especially at the short tracks. He’s really good at the short track. So we need more of those on our schedule, I guess, for Noah.”

But then he drew the big comparison between him and Bubba, “But overall, just real proud of him today and what he was able to do and kind of reminds me a lot of Darrell Wallace actually, and what Darrell was able to do his first year kind of started out a little rough and kind of started going a little bit later in the year. W0n his first race at Martinsville right here and then went and [he] was after a Championship in his second season with us, you know, so hopefully Noah can be able to do.”

It is too soon to say whether or not he will be the champion, because the season concludes at Phoenix. But Gragson sure has proven himself.

He has remained the points leader pretty much ever since the Playoffs began, gathering a whopping eight wins this season. That is more than any driver has got in the entire NASCAR season, including Truck Series and Cup. Moreover, he also has 20 top-five finishes.
