His impressive on-track record, combined with several lucrative sponsorship deals, has made him one of the most sought-after drivers in the sport. Despite his move into another team for the 2023 season, Busch’s record-high pay of $16,900,000 was a massive four million more than the driver next in line. Just a year prior to that, Busch used to earn a total of $17.8 million out of the entire NASCAR grid. Only a few of them have salaries that constitute the 8-figure range. Two of them are Busch’s old teammates; Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. Another driver to be in the eight-figure range would be Stewart Haas Racing‘s driver, Kevin Harvick.

Back in December, RCR announced that 3CHI, Alsco, Lenovo, and BetMGM would join in as additional sponsors for Busch’s car. Moreover, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen would be their new primary sponsor. Although, the sponsors were revealed. They shared no figure with the public. This adds to the question if Rowdy would be able to retain his lead in terms of driver salaries or not.

While speculations can run wild, as of the latest developments, no one can be sure if he would continue to be at the top of the NASCAR driver food chain. In fact, there could also be a possibility that someone else would clench his throne. Furthermore, back when Busch’s future was bleak, he had also stated that he would be open to settling for lower pay. So, adding that into the mix, who knows if he actually settled for a lower salary or if RCR was kind enough to maintain his pay-scale dominance?
