Kyle Busch’s sponsorship issues have left everyone wondering about his future in the sport. And with no leads on a future sponsor, it puts a lot of stress on Busch, Toyota Racing Development, along with Joe Gibbs Racing. Especially Considering, the hefty $25 Million Mars Inc. and M&M gave the team for the #18 car.
Surely, the sponsorship issues have left a lot of questions. But the answers are still unknown.

“We’re all working as hard as we can, obviously, and the goal hasn’t changed,” Busch said Saturday. “And that goal is for me to be able to continue at Joe Gibbs Racing with Toyota and to have that chance to continue to race for wins and race for championships”
However, his future in the Cup Series isn’t the only thing Busch has to worry about. He also runs Kyle Busch Motorsports, one of the top teams in the Truck Series. And KBM also runs Toyota cars. Naturally, that’s a point that the #18 driver has to keep in mind too.
“That weighs on me a lot. We’ve got 50-something employees,” at KBM, Busch said. “It’s important for me to continue to keep all of them in mind and all their families and stuff to make sure we get something done that keeps all of that going. It’s a topic point of mine to keep that as much as we can and to keep that place flourishing.”
However, Kyle and Toyota aren’t the only ones who want the driver in JGR.

“We obviously want Kyle in the race car,” NASCAR President Steve Phelps said. “We want Kyle to stay at Joe Gibbs Racing to the degree that Kyle and coach and the organization can figure that out. He’s a tremendous talent, obviously first-ballot Hall of Famer. We want Kyle around for another decade or however long he wants to race in NASCAR.”
