Kyle Busch is one of the most successful and consistent drivers in NASCAR today so it is no surprise that he rarely faces any issues getting sponsors at this stage of his career. It was announced on Thursday that Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen has extended its partnership with Richard Childress Racing, Kyle Busch, and the No. 8 Chevrolet team on a multi-race, multi-year deal. It is a massive boost for Busch and RCR who will be looking to make a bigger impact in 2024 than they did in 2023.

The scope and quantity of primary races on the No. 8 Chevrolet have significantly increased every year since the RCR and Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen originally partnered in 2020. RCR provides the Cheddar team with marketing and communications support for the program in addition to strategic content.

It is no secret that in today’s day and age, sponsorships play a big role in building and maintaining the image of a driver, especially one who is at the level of Kyle Busch. Speaking about the new deal, Richard Childress Racing’s president, Torrey Galida, hailed the American food chain’s creative marketing strategy for Rowdy and the #8 team. From utilizing unique paint schemes to honoring the military through the partnership, the relationship between driver and sponsor has been a successful one in the last 3 years.

“It’s gratifying to see Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen find so much success by integrating Kyle and the No. 8 team into their marketing strategy,” said Torrey Galida, president of RCR. “Whether its incorporating Honey Butter Croissants into the paint scheme design of the No. 8 Chevrolet, utilizing the race team partnership to honor our military, or bringing the excitement of motor sports to restaurant locations throughout the country with menu offerings catered to Kyle Busch fans, it’s clear that this team is willing to think outside the box and market in creative ways. We’re looking forward to being part of the Cheddar’s growth strategy for many years to come.”

It’s not just Kyle Busch Cheddar’s share a relationship with, but his whole family. As per RCR’s release, each of the Buschs has a favorite Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen preparation. For Samantha, it’s the grilled salmon. For Brexton, the top sirloin steak. While for Lennix, it is the honey butter croissants. For Kyle, well you can’t go wrong with a delicious plate of baby back ribs.

This partnership will be crucial for all the parties involved going into the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen’s vice-president of marketing, John Felton, sang Rowdy’s praises after pen was put to paper as he explained how he has helped bring motorsports fans closer to their food.

Cheddar’s is a popular brand which boasts 180 outlets across 28 states. With a lot of these restaurants near race tracks and with Kyle Busch marketing the company, they usually see a lot of footfall during a race weekend. The portions are hearty and the prices are quite reasonable. To make things even better, the restaurants provide a complimentary entree a warm Honey Butter Croissant to every guest.

“We’re excited to wave the green flag once again on our relationship with Richard Childress Racing, Kyle Busch and the No. 8 team,” Felton said of the new deal. “Kyle and the RCR team have been great partners as we introduce NASCAR fans to our homestyle favorites at comforting prices. We look forward to cooking up even more together in 2024 and beyond.”
