Without a doubt, the Tom Cruise blockbuster Days of Thunder is a cult classic NASCAR film. This movie features cameos from prominent NASCAR legends like Richard Petty, Rusty Wallace, and many more. Recently, Kyle Busch posted a photo of the movie poster with a picture of himself on it. He ‘pitched’ the idea of rebooting the movie, preferably with himself in it.

Honestly, the idea kind of fits, because one of the main characters is called Rowdy. Of course, as everyone knows, Kyle Busch’s nickname is Rowdy. Obviously, he meant it as a joke, but it would be fun to see, nonetheless. Admittedly, there haven’t been many NASCAR-centric movies, but it is still as popular as ever.

What next for Kyle Busch in the 2022 NASCAR Cup season?
At the moment, the driver is gearing up for the start of the Cup Series season. The first race on the hit list is the inaugural race at the Los Angeles Coliseum. From there, the real 2022 Cup season will kick off at the Daytona 500 in two weeks’ time. Last year, Kyle Busch won the Busch Light Clash. Later on that year, he won at Kansas and Pocono, to extend his win streak to 17 consecutive years.

So, if he manages to pull off another one in the 2022 season, he will equal the legendary Richard Petty. Of course, that kind of a record is just an appetizer, as the Cup Series title is the real prize. With the Next Gen cars, it will be a chance for Busch to draw first blood and be the first champion for this generation of cars. Naturally, this will not be an easy feat, as he has to worry about his teammates and rivals. Chief among them will be reigning champion Kyle Larson, who will lead the Hendrick Motorsports charge.
