With Kyle Busch leaving Joe Gibbs Racing to join Richard Childress Racing, it has left the door open for another driver to enter the #18. Well, not literally because Stock Cars don’t have doors that open, but the seat will be empty next year. Naturally, everyone is wondering who will take the car.
There is some talk of a silver spoon that might decide the fate of the #18 car.

In a recent Instagram post, NASCAR asked fans who would be the right fit for the #18 car. And Busch had to take this opportunity for a joke as he replied, “Is that even a question?”

Now, this was hilarious. Busch sure knows his humor well, and the fans seem to see it too.
I like this version of KB. If only he showed this side of his personality years ago.

One fan even compared him to Fernando Alonso, a two-time Formula One world champion.
Kyle is the @alo_oficial of nascar 🤣🤣

But of course, the question of who will replace him in the #18 remains. Many fans seem to believe that Joe Gibbs’ grandson Ty Gibs will give him the “silver spoon” and bring him to the Cup Series.
Ty gibbs getting that silver spoon from grandpa like always

More than likely Ty Gibbs…. They had to open up a spot for him, and he isn't going to be put in nothing but the best equipment that they have. He's prematurely the new face of JGR. Great move for RCR to scoop @KyleBusch up! Best move they made, great call @austindillon3 !

The spoiled little brat.

We all know the answer to that question

It’s Gibbs

Ty joining the team in the Cup Series might be something a lot of fans have their eyes peeled for. And a good deal of them might already be expecting him to join his grandfather’s team. But at the moment, he has his eyes set on the Xfinity Series Championship.
Ty Gibbs wants to win at Phoenix before he thinks about replacing Kyle Busch
Surely, Gibbs has got the Cup Series experience, driving the #45 in place of Kurt Busch. But he seems to have his targets set on the championship, as he believes he can take the win at Phoenix.

“I definitely think they’re very strong chances and we just have to make it to Phoenix,” Gibbs said of his playoff outlook. “We just have to go win and let it take care of itself.”
