Kyle Busch has a Cheeky Response to Dale Earnhardt Jr Teasing his Potential Link-Up with Michael Jordan’s 23XI in 2023

Although we are in the midst of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, many eyes are turning to 2023. To be precise, they are focused on the jigsaw puzzle known as the 2023 driver line-up. The biggest question on everyone’s lips is, where will Kyle Busch end up, next season?

Honestly, this would not have been an issue as he would have stuck with Joe Gibbs Racing. However, M&M’s announced that they are leaving at the end of the year. So, Busch is stuck without a primary sponsor and starting to get desperate. There are many candidates lined up and rumors aplenty about Busch’s next destination.

Now, Dale Earnhardt Jr believes that he has an idea where the #18 driver will end up, and posted a cryptic tweet.

Analyzing it further, the former Hendrick Motorsports driver believes that he may go to 23XI Racing. However, Busch shot down that insinuation with a hilarious dig at Dale Jr, suggesting that he was a little drunk.

What lies ahead for Kyle Busch in the 2022 season?

Currently, the 2-time Cup Series champion is contesting for the 2022 Cup Series crown. Heading into the next race of the season at Kansas, he sits in 11th place. This is in spite of him retiring from the Darlington race with a blown engine.

However, Busch still needs to buck up and stay alive as long as possible in the Playoffs and reach the Championship 4 to challenge for the title.

The driver will be hoping that his performance in the current Cup Series campaign attracts some sponsors. This is because no NASCAR driver can operate for very long without a sponsor. Even if they are champions, the drivers need sponsors to race. For now, Busch will have to split his priorities between his 2022 Cup campaign and hunting for a permanent sponsor in 2023.
