During the LA Coliseum weekend, there were a fair number of celebrities present. Among them were social media starlets, Charli and Dixie D’Amelio. As it turned out, they were guests of Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Kyle Busch, and hung out with him. Afterwards, Charli posted images taken at the event, including some with Busch.

The two-time Cup Series champion even thanked them for turning up to the event to watch him race. However, some fans decided to troll the #18 driver for finishing second. Obviously, Busch did not take the insults lying down and gave back as well as he got it.

One fan teased him about finishing second to Penske driver Joey Logano. Kyle Busch smoothly replied, “Imagine sitting on your couch”. In all honesty, this was not very surprising from the JGR driver, as he has been known to have a very sharp tongue on social media.

Now, the driver will be keen for racing to resume once again, this time at the Daytona 500. The iconic race at the Daytona International Speedway normally signifies the start of the NASCAR Cup Series season. The annual Busch Clash generally starts the racing season, but it is a non-points race. So the Daytona 500 is generally regarded as the real start of the NASCAR Cup season.

It is worth mentioning that aside from a third title, Busch is chasing a bit of history. This is because, if he wins a race this season, he will equal the legendary Richard Petty in terms of most consecutive seasons with a win.

In 2023, Busch will have a chance to break that record, and few have ever come close to matching him. Of course, that record will just be a nice bonus while the Joe Gibbs Racing driver guns for the Cup Series title.
