Kyle Busch had an idea to help his son run a part-time Truck Series schedule from 2031 to 2033. He’d have entered the competition as a full-time driver as he turned 18 in 2033. The KBM sale has, however, delayed the inevitable integration of Brexton into the grand scheme. With the youngster already leaning into grassroots racing, it is a matter of time before some team lands his services.

Alongside Kevin Harvick‘s son Keelan, Brexton had featured in this year’s Cook Out Summer Shoutout Series. In addition, 2023 also saw him making his Charlotte Motor Speedway debut earlier in the summer Bandoleros division. As for Rowdy, he thought of winning a Truck Series title with KBM. That feat would also make him the only driver to win NASCAR’s Cup Series, Xfinity, and Truck Series. The sale of his team has not only drastically shifted his plans but also the trajectory of his career.
