Kyle Busch secured a notable victory in the NASCAR Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. He successfully defended his place against Corey Heim’s robust challenge in the final laps on Friday night. Dominating the race, the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion led a staggering 112 out of the 167 laps and completed a clean sweep of the event, earning 60 points. While this already sent fans into a frenzy, what he did next caught even more attention as the driver took to social media to rightfully flaunt his dominant stature in NASCAR and, that too, while he was on TV!

Kyle Busch couldn’t hold on any longer to share his latest achievement to the world

Usually after a race victory, one comes out of their car, partakes in the celebrations, and then proceeds with the interviews. But our “Rowdy” is certainly not like everyone. He supposedly had his cell phone with him all this time, and before even taking his helmet off, ‘X’ had a new post from the 38-year-old.

Without wasting any words, Rowdy promptly got to the point and simply wrote, “Perfect Shot. Trophy 231 Down”. Busch’s excitement is definitely justified as he continues topping the list for all-time wins in the three divisions of NASCAR, beating even the likes of 7X Cup Series champion Richard Petty (200), Jeff Gordon (98) and even Dale Earnhardt (97).

Having said that, the tweet left fans wondering if he was actually tweeting while he was on live television. Someone commented that Kyle Busch shared his victory post directly from the truck, while another fan went ahead and speculated that he made the post immediately after passing the checkered flag.

Hilarious as it seems, it is understandable why Busch had this rush of emotions running within him at that time. With this recent victory at Texas, Busch now shares the record with Todd Bodine for the highest number of Truck Series race wins at this track. This is his sixth win, and fifth consecutive victory at Texas in Truck Series. Adding to his individual records tally, this was Busch’s 20th win at the track that includes 10 Xfinity Series and 4 Cup Series wins.

But, surely, he couldn’t have achieved all this without the backing of his team. So, naturally, Busch didn’t shy away from appreciating his crew members in a post-race interview.

Rowdy appreciates his team after the comfortable win

In the post-race interview, Kyle Busch lauded young

Corey Heim for his efforts. Busch at one point seemed to be visibly struggling with his vehicle’s front. That helped Corey Heim gain momentum during the final laps. An intense moment erupted when Heim reached his rear bumper during the third turn. Uncertain of the best path, Busch chose a middle-to-bottom route, while Heim moved to the top. This ultimately allowed Busch to maintain a sufficient lead to secure the win.

“Great team, everybody here at Spire. Appreciate Brian Patty and everybody that was able to work so hard to prepare us a really fast real tree Silverado. So thanks to team Chevy, thanks to Real Tree, their first NASCAR win. Mr Jordan’s at home, I know Tyler’s here, so exciting to have those guys with us. Going to go celebrating in victory lane and carry these bright colors there. I told him I wanted to do it for him, so glad that we could,” he said.

Hope this victory boosts his confidence ahead of the Cup Series race that follows. Do you think Kyle Busch will be able to visit Victory Lane this Sunday? Let us know in the comments below!
