Currently, the biggest question on everyone’s mind is where will Kyle Busch race next year? Ever since M&M’s chose to part ways with NASCAR at the end of the season, Busch has been on the hunt for a new sponsor. At the moment, his only options are to either stick it out with Joe Gibbs Racing with a new sponsor or head for other pastures.

Recently, the 2015 and 2019 Cup champions spoke about what he should do.

He said, “Somebody said, ‘Maybe you should go and do the (Kyle) Larson tour’. Go run Late Models, dirt cars, IMSA, Indy. And it’s like, ‘Oh my God.’ That just seems to add a new element to everything.”

“That’s probably the farthest down on my list that I’d entertain but certainly wouldn’t leave it out.”

Will Kyle Busch consider racing outside the NASCAR arena?

Once upon a time, the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing driver did entertain such thoughts. Back in 2017, he was interested in competing in the iconic Indianapolis 500, which is honestly on everyone’s bucket list.

Unfortunately, Joe Gibbs Racing were unwilling to let him compete at the time. Another aim for the NASCAR veteran was to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Admittedly, that could be a possibility, especially with NASCAR’s plan to field a modified Next Gen car.

However, Busch will likely have to hope that the former team, Hendrick Motorsports, will be willing to recruit him for the project. Coming back to the NASCAR Cup scene, it is possible that if a JGR drive doesn’t materialize, then Stewart-Haas is an option.

In fact, Kevin Harvick has even confessed that he would be ‘100% open’ to having him as a teammate. He has insisted that he and Busch get along pretty well, and a driver of his caliber can help the team be faster.
