Kyle Busch is more than just a NASCAR racecar driver. He has ardent fans who follow him on race weekends, and Busch sure makes time to greet and interact with them. The most common request by the fans for the driver is to get his autograph, one that he has been used to for some time.
Usually, fans carry unique props such as caps, t-shirts, car helmets, books, or other racing-related items to get them signed by their favorite driver. However, on one occasion, Kyle Busch found himself in a rather clumsy situation when signing an autograph for a fan. In an unusual request, the fan asked Rowdy to get his autograph on a baby diaper.

The RCR driver in the pre-race interview at Phoenix was asked to share his weird experience with his fans. While Busch has dime a dozen wired instances with his fans, a particular one stuck with him. Taking a stroll down memory lane, the former JGR racing driver shared a hilarious incident with one of his fans while collaborating with M&M’s.
Busch said, “I was doing an autograph session one time for M&M’s at M&Mss World and this lady was walking by and didn’t even know I was supposed to be here or anything but she was a race fan and she was like, Oh my god, Kyle Busch, here sign something…I’m like I can just sign your bag and she goes no no no, you can’t sign the bag. It was a Prada diaper bag or some stuff so can’t sign that.”
He then even tried to pull off Ricky Bobby’s signature antics from Talladega Nights, but the lady was adamant on getting his autograph on a baby diaper. “So she pulls out a diaper it was clean but she pulled out a diaper. So I was like okay, yeah I could sign the baby’s forehead, Ricky Bobby does those but I don’t know, besides that, there’s been some others that just skip my mind right now,” he added.

Last weekend in Las Vegas, Kyle Busch, and his team had to incur a penalty after his car pitted past the pit line. The penalty saw him finish the race at #23 in his own backyard. Moreover, at Daytona, he had his left front tire loosely fitted, which also cost him precious time in the pits apart from racing. Going into the Phoenix race, Busch does not want his crew to repeat the mistakes of the past.

“When I feel like I’m in a downward position or behind, I’m going to try to get more, and so that’s led to my speeding penalties, and that led to my sliding through the box. Because now I have to make up time on pit road myself to kind of compensate for what we are losing when we’re stopped in the box.” While the RCR team might not have the best bunch of pit crew professionals at hand, they can certainly help Busch’s cause and not drag him back with mistakes.
The RCR pit crew will have their work cut out at Phoenix, and hopefully they will learn from their past mistakes. Because, at the current rate, the team is far from their ambitious plans to contend for the championship this season.
