Kyle Busch has not been himself on the racetrack lately. Be it his troubles with the Next Gen car, frustration with not having a competitive race team, or being on the bitter end of the stick, Busch has dealt with it all. With just 10 races to go in the season, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel for one of the top NASCAR drivers.
However, Rowdy hasn’t let the racetrack disappointments hamper his personal life. Rather, Busch and his two kids, Brexton and Lennix’s recent adventures have left Samantha Busch worried.

We all know how Brexton Busch is already on the path to continuing his family’s racing legacy. His passion for motorsports is well supported by his father, who now calls Brexton’s race shop the new KBM. However, he was hesitant about his young daughter following in his footsteps. As he said, “Most likely, I don’t want her to — but whatever she wants to do.” But it turns out that little Rowdy is getting groomed by her father and brother for future racing stints.
Two-year-old Lennix was seen getting her taste of road racing in a vintage 1989 Barbie Corvette. However, this adventure quickly got out of hand as the father-brother duo accidentally set the Barbie Corvette to the maximum speed of 20 mph. The entire scene was captured by Samantha Busch, which she later shared with the fans via her Instagram account stories.
The speeding car even got Brexton worried, but Kyle Busch came to the rescue as he managed to get hold of the baby Corvette. Again, it took a joint effort from the father-son duo to get the car in control. Busch tried to instantly notch the speed down by lifting the hood, while Brexton lifted the rear bumper so the car could not get out of control. This wasn’t even the funniest part of the whole scenario.

After managing to get the car tuned and up to a safe speed, Brexton was seen trying the infamous bump and run with his scooter, trying to help turn the Barbie Corvette. Reacting to the whole ordeal, Samantha Busch wrote in one of her stories, “This vintage 1989 Barbie Corvette won’t last long with these two, well three.” It is indeed good to see Rowdy keeping up his spirits despite the rough season he is having on the racetrack.

The RCR driver, for the time being, sits outside the playoffs picture. With no wins to his name, it is hard to imagine the 2-time NASCAR Cup Series champ relying on points to make the cut. Even if he somehow secures his place in the playoffs, by no means is he going to be a real contender to win the title this season. At least not with the current race set up for the No. 8 RCR team.

So is there a possibility of Rowdy looking to jump ship after the end of the 2024 season? Well, given the current state of the silly season, nothing can be ruled out. There were rumors about him looking to rejoin Joe Gibbs Racing, with a retirement call from Martin Truex Jr imminent. But, again, JGR has a ton of options to choose from, especially young, talented drivers from Stewart Haas Racing who are taking the exit door after the end of the season.
The only way Kyle Busch can secure a seat back at JGR, or other teams for that matter, is by summoning the vintage Rowdy racing performances. It’s not that he can’t compete, he did come close to competing for the win twice this season. But again, the RCR racing project is inconsistent, and it’s certainly hampering Busch’s left few prime years of racing.
