NASCAR has brought some remarkable changes over the 75th anniversary. Bringing back North Wilkesboro Speedway is one of them and it has captured the fancy of fans and media alike. The All-Star Race is hardly a few hours away from now. However, the unexpected results of Heats 1 and 2 too have attracted much attention.

Rainy conditions in the area might impact the much-anticipated event. It might have been the weather conditions that led to Kyle Busch finishing up 14th in the qualifying race. This is not something Richard Childress Racing would have aimed for, although Austin Dillon did secure a top 5 berth. As a result of this, Busch posted a series of photos on Instagram highlighting the wet conditions at the track. In fact, fans expressed their support for the #8 driver and asked RCR to build a better car for Busch.

As a result of his remarkable performances over the years and particularly after his switch to RCR this year, Busch’s popularity has been soaring. However, at NWS, he was unable to secure the pole position for his team. Later, he shared a series of photos from the track and wrote, “Ready to battle it out for a million and some bragging nights.”

Busch’s fans flooded the comments section and expressed hopes that he secures victory at the million-dollar event. Someone wrote, “Hopefully we get that car little quicker for tomorrow, I believe in you Rowdy!” While others were mesmerized by his ride, “Nice looking ride, go win with it! Your type of track.”

Some even claimed that RCR is responsible for Busch’s mediocre performance in qualifying, “Guys you have to build better cars for Kyle.”

Furthermore, some asked the team to improve their performance at short tracks by stating, “RCR need some work to do on short tracks!”

“RCR has been crap on short racks all year so not looking forward to tomorrow for the 8.”

While some held weather responsible, wishing, “Rain go away.”
