As if there weren’t enough reasons to like Kurt Busch as a person, he just gave his fans another one. Prior to the Cup race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, he spearheaded a social movement. To be precise, he established the ‘Window for Hope’ initiative to raise awareness for breast cancer. So, every Cup car ran bright pink window nets on their cars in honor of this moment.

Later on, the window nets were auctioned off, and the proceeds donated to charity. Now, Front Row Motorsports revealed that Busch won the bid for Anthony Alfredo’s window net. Later on, they gifted it to Alfredo’s mother, who lost her own mother to breast cancer. This Kurt Busch is a far cry from the hot-tempered racer that he used to be in his younger days. It is also something that he shared with his brother, Kyle Busch.

Now, the Chip Ganassi Racing driver is competing in his final race for the team. This is because the team itself will no longer be in operation in 2022, as it has been sold to Trackhouse Racing. Fortunately, Busch and teammate Ross Chastain have found an alternative means of employment.

While the 2004 Cup Series champion is heading to 23XI Racing to partner Bubba Wallace, Chastain will join the Trackhouse Racing team as the outfit’s second driver alongside Daniel Suarez.

Additionally, the introduction of the Next Gen car will be a bit of a challenge in the 2022 season. However, an experienced head like Kurt Busch can help in the car’s development.
