Bad luck is part of the game. It’s part of everyone’s lives. But while the acceptance of the same is necessary, it’s also important that one gets the ‘pick me up’ in dire situations, like the one Bubba Wallace finds himself in currently.
The 23XI Racing driver is not having a good season, to say the least.
But fortunately for him, he has by his side, Kurt Busch, his teammate and NASCAR’s current most experienced driver who has been through it all. This was what he recently revealed in an interview, that he did give some advice to Wallace about the mistakes that he’s making and the bad run he’s in right now.

“I’m like, ‘Hey, man, I’ve been here,” Busch said. “‘I’m right there with you. I’m a racer. I’m passionate. We just have to get to that next level of professionalism.’”
“I’ve made those mistakes, and he’s making those mistakes and yet, it’s still a matter of just relying on all elements and all people within the team.”
What else has Kurt Busch told Bubba Wallace?
In another interview, it was Bubba Wallace, who revealed the advice his teammate, Kurt Busch, gave him. “Kurt Busch told me that after I junked him at Darlington last year, Every stage is a reset. Carrying over something from the first stage to the third stage, you’re just hurting yourself and your team,” he said.

Busch himself admitted that he embraced the role of a mentor-teammate for Wallace, who has mostly been on his own in his NASCAR career. But in order for this to work, Busch feels, Wallace needs to admit his weaknesses, and he, his.

“I’m not the oracle or anything, but I feel like I can help him. And I know I can learn things from him because that’s how I think I’ve stayed relevant for 22 years is continuing to learn and being adaptive to the situations,” he added.
