Being a child of celebrities and athletes is surely not easy. Apart from being continuously exposed to the limelight at an early age, fans also raise the benchmark for these kids, as if they ought to follow in their parents’ footsteps. And quite often, the kids do follow the same profession. But the stakes are too high for them to fill in the shoes of their predecessors. It stays true for the fathers and their kids in the world of NASCAR.
The grid has seen its fair share of father–son duos leaving their marks on the track. It is the present-day kids of Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, and Kyle Larson who are paving their way for future racing. And is apparent from Brexton’s Instagram post.

It can be opined that racing is the one thing that runs in the blood of Brexton, Keelan, and Owen, and why not? With fathers who are Cup Series champions, these kids already get exposed to the nuances of motor racing, even before they learn to say car. NASCAR has already borne witness to legendary father–son duos like the Earnhardts, the Pettys, and the Elliotts, to name a few.
Moreover, it seems that there might be future additions to the racing world, after watching the dexterity of Brexton Busch. The string of photos that the little racer posted on his account shows his daunting resilience when it comes to racing.
The pictures that Kyle Busch’s son posted also highlight the efforts that his father puts behind him, in order for his son to excel.
Brexton also added to the captions, “ Wild night @wcspeedway. Spun in practice, went to back up, and qualified on the pole. Led early and spun racing for the lead. Started in the back and drove back up to P5. Not the best finish, but kept digging and learned a lot. Drove to Darlington and getting ready to head to @fmspeedway for more racing tonight. Comment if you’ll be there.”
