At the Bristol Motor Speedway, Chandler Smith took his maiden Truck Series win. While his teammate John Hunter Nemechek was glad that it was a company win, he was not was not particularly happy with Smith.

Insisting that he did not gift the win to Smith, he said, “I’m pissed right now. Two teammates racing hard in the end. Whatever. You get moved out of the way. Kind of a cheap shot. It’s a company win. It is what it is. We raced as hard as we could and that’s what we have to do.”

On the bright side, the driver insisted that it was a good thing that two Trucks advanced to the next round. At the end of the day, the result reflects well on the team, on Kyle Busch, and on Toyota. In fact, it has been a while since two full-time Kyle Busch Motorsports drivers reached the next Playoff round.
