“Kid’s a Clown” – Hailie Deegan “Pi**ed” at NASCAR Driver Who Wrecked Her in Nashville

Hailie Deegan was on a roll at the Truck Race on the Nashville Superspeedway. However, things ended poorly for her as another driver got tangled up, wrecking her out. Moreover, Deegan was comfortably in the top 15 and competing for a top 10 finish. Unfortunately, Max Gutiérrez in the #22 truck put a sad end to Deegan’s race.

Although, if there is one thing we know Hailie Deegan for besides her performance on the track, it is her amazing Social Media presence and her YouTube vlogs. And this time around she lashed out at the driver that wrecked her race.

She said, “I’m just pissed, to be honest.”

She then compliments her team, and the chance they had at a good finish as she said, “We would take tires and drive back through the field, and it was just great, great pit stops, Truck just kept getting better and better every single stop. We were in the position to finish easy in the top-10.” 

However, a disaster struck for the David Gilliland Racing driver, as the #22 hit her. She expresses her frustration as she said, “The 22 just flat out wrecks us. Kid’s a clown, I mean he’s tried to wreck me at charlotte too. I don’t get it, I really don’t get it,”

She then takes a shot at Gutiérrez’s post-race interview, “Then he does an interview saying ‘oh well she shouldn’t have lifted’. I don’t know if you realize this buddy, but you don’t really lift on straightaways, not something you really do.”

Hailie Deegan Feels She Gets ‘Taken Advantage Of’

Deegan’s 2022 season has not been as good as she might have hoped. With multiple wrecks and other incidents. Although some of them were her own mistakes, some were really not. And, we saw that in the recent race at Nashville.

In an episode of the Door Bumper Clear Podcast, before the Nashville weekend, she opens up about the matter.

She said, “I feel like we do get taken advantage of a lot but also I get fired up when someone does something to me, like really fired up. I think it’s my dad kind of speaking through me.”

She added, “We’ve had so many situations where we’ve got wrecked out or put in bad situations. It could just be not our fault and get in someone else’s situation.”

Finally, it’s an unfortunate result, and we can only hope that Deegan turns it around later.
