“Recap of a great 2 days at Southern National! 3 races, 3 wins! … Super proud of our drivers’ and their great performances!”

Keelan’s racing journey is closely observed and financed by Justin Marks, owner of Trackhouse Racing. Thus, his racing costume and car consist of their logo as well. Justin Marks has also hinted at the possibility of bringing in the father-son duo in Trackhouse in the future. They plan for Kevin Harvick to join in a management role though, after his journey with Stewart-Haas Racing ended. There is no proposed plan as of yet, but with time the relationship can grow, as Marks hoped. Right now, they are just supporting a young talent with all they have.

Earlier Marks stated, “You know Trackhouse is in this spot now where we are growing in popularity, we are establishing our Cup team and we have to start looking at what the talent looks like in the future and grow the brand and play in different areas. Kevin is a good friend of mine and I have watched Keelan come up at the GoPro Motorplex in North Carolina so it’s really nice. You know, he’s a few years away from Cup but it is nice for Trackhouse to support some of the really young talents coming up”.

Since its inception in 1992, the US Legend Cars International has consistently upheld its mission of providing an affordable platform for young drivers to kickstart their racing careers. Despite their portable stature, these 5/8th-scale, full-fendered Legend Cars are miles ahead of any other competitors. They sit at a mere 46 inches above the pavement, yet deliver such amazing results. The main game-changer in these cars is their horsepower.

Daytona 500 champion William Byron, who is a Legend car alumnus himself, said “The cars have a good amount of horsepower compared to how small the wheelbase is. It’s definitely a lot to handle.” He also added, “It teaches you the fundamentals. Legend Cars were the first thing I had driven. I had done, like, one go-kart race. Legends is what started it all, I didn’t know any different so I thought it was normal. It was really cool. It was really efficient for my learning curve to figure those things out. And I learned some of the techniques of racing that helped me improve even more. It just took off.”

Indeed, Keelan Harvick’s racing journey is off to a promising start. Learning from these capable cars at such a young age ensures a solid foundation. Additionally, with backing from teams like Trackhouse Racing and the guidance of his father, Kevin, Keelan will undoubtedly be propelled to greater heights.
