A furious Joey Logano being held back by Kevin Harvick’s crew was a sight to behold at the Pocono Raceway in 2010. The situation heated up post-race when the then Joe Gibbs Racing driver jumped out of his #20 Toyota, furiously charging at Harvick.

Though bitter rivals in the past, Logano and Harvick have since then put aside their differences and are good friends now. So much so that Harvick recently jokingly tagged Logano in a post regarding their 13-year-old incident. This, however, triggered a plethora of reactions from fans.

A bump from Harvick’s #29 Chevy left Logano struggling for control and spinning out during the Gillette Fusion Proglide 500 in 2010. Logano quickly lost multiple spots and finished 13th while Harvick finished 4th.

The end of the race saw a visibly angry Logano shoving Richard Childress Racing crew members in a bid to get to Harvick. Post-race, Logano uttered the now-historical lines, “Its probably not his fault, you know. His wife wears the firesuit in his family, tells him what to do.”

Harvick’s recent tweet has garnered a mixed reaction in the comments. Though many fans are reliving in nostalgia, many have sided with Logano, defending his outburst.

Some commented, not a Joey fan but he was right on that one” and “how does someone with as much talent as Kevin Harvick manage to run into Joey Logano on a track that wide?”

Here are some of the fans’ reactions.

“Joey isn’t my driver at all. But u guys molded him into a fearless tough SOB. It’s fun to watch him get up front. Bc now u know who ever yr pulling for will have to earn it from Joey. Congratulations on how tough he has become. Bc of moments like this.”
