Following how Cole Custer manipulated the outcome of the race by assisting his teammate, to advance to the playoffs, Kevin Harvick’s crew chief hints that maybe Harvick could perhaps plan to do the same.

Cole Custer had deliberately slowed down as per team orders, to allow his teammate Chase Briscoe to make a lunge and pass several cars in order to make it into the round of 8 for the playoffs. NASCAR took note of it and handed the #41 team a massive penalty, but Briscoe remained scot-free. Childers who himself is serving a race ban was clearly not happy with what transpired on track at the Charlotte Roval.

Obviously, he was joking, but you never know. NASCAR has fallen deep into this controversy after Custer was penalized, but just a year prior at Bristol, Chase Elliott was not.

Fans react to Rodney Childers suggesting that they could pull off the same with Kevin Harvick

Fans tore up the comments section stating how the implementation of rules by NASCAR was becoming so inconsistent that they are slowly losing their love and interest in the sport.

Fans stated that they agreed with Childers since NASCAR made up rules on the fly. They also said how NASCAR was turning into a joke with each passing year.

Childers has not been highly outspoken in the past, aside from a few times, so when it’s him calling out NASCAR, there is sure going to be an audience listening.
