While Kevin Harvick has hung up his boot, leaving NASCAR nation with a whole lot of sweet memories to savor, his son is showing the way to young aspiring drivers by leading at the front. In fact, his son, Keelan Harvick is an inspiration to many as he goes on a blistering run to rack title after title to make a name for himself, steadily climbing the ranks.

The young racer recently racked up another title to add another feather to his cap, winning round two of the Young Lions tournament to rack up another Legend car trophy, making a strong statement for himself.

The 11-year-old dominates the novice division of US Legend cars

It certainly was a solid opening to his winter heat performance, with the 2014 Cup Series champion’s son taking the checkered flag at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The Speedway Christmas Legend car marathon had Keelan Harvick taking the fight to his competition, finally ending his day and starting the year with a stellar win, posing in the victory lane with the checkered flag alongside his #62 car.

Keelan, who is also the 23 INEX Road Course World Finals YL Champ, 22 USPKS Nat Champ (Mini), and 21 4X Nat Champ (Micro), won round 2 of the Young Lions, kick-starting his 2024 on a high note. The youngster shared his delight on social media, posting a picture of him beside his car, extending his streak as he showed the young guns the way.

After Harvick’s bittersweet farewell from the sport, it looks like his 11-year-old young blood is looking to inherit the throne from his father. And to add to that, Keelan has also got his career well secured, with Harvick’s legendary mentor Ron Hornaday Jr looking after the youngster just like he did for his father. Harvick’s young racer might be the most blessed out of the young lot, with both his father and his mentor being by his side to show him the way.

While the youngster is steadily making a name for himself, racking up titles and accolades one after the others in legend car and midget car circles, Harvick has got his son the best guru he could. Keelan recently had his first ride in a full-body stock car with both his father and Hornaday Jr looking out for the young racer, getting him a feel for the big leagues, and trying to give him a heads-up.
