Following the race at Bristol, Kevin Harvick found himself to be knocked out of the playoffs, as he faced problems on pit road. Later on, journalist Bob Pockrass was seen interviewing Harvick inquiring about what went wrong for him.

Pockrass asked, What more did Kevin Harvick need tonight? To which Harvick responded, “Wheels to stay on.” Pockrass then asked that he heard Harvick complaining about the brakes to be vibrating. The SHR driver stated, “Yeah we were fine. We were in front of the 17 when it all went down and just had a bad pit stop.”

Harvick’s pit road incident where his wheel fell off right as we were driving away managed to cost him dearly. Sadly, Harvicks run for the Championship ended right there as he got eliminated from the playoffs.

Fans went into a frenzy and took to social media to speak their minds, after hearing Harvick’s 4-word response that led to his failure to qualify ahead for the playoffs.

Fans stated that they were unsure of how long Harvick would remain in the sport and incidents like these take away the last few chances of pushing for the title.

Many also argued that the nature of Bristol’s racing had changed over the years, especially with the arrival of the newer generation of cars. They complained it was all about aerodynamics now. Rest assured, Harvick did perform really well all season, only had his pit stop gone according to plan we could have had Harvick in the playoffs for the future rounds. However, sadly that’s the nature of motorsports, unpredictability reigns prime.
