Kevin Harvick Asks Heckler “Get Your Story Straight” as He Welcomes the Dale Earnhardt Jr Challenge

Veteran NASCAR driver and 2014 Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick, is renowned to take on challenges head-on. We also know him for his outspoken nature. Recently, a NASCAR fan asked him if he would like to race alongside Dale Earnhardt Jr in the late models. After his response, a person promptly heckled him. But Harvick was quick to shut down the heckler spot on.

When asked if he would be alright with racing Dale Earnhardt Jr in the Late Models, Harvick responded, “Absolutely! Seeing how much fun he’s having is a big part of why we’re doing all this!“

Right after his response, a heckler emerged in the comments and told Harvick, “Just don’t wreck the field to advance. It’s not Talladega.” Harvick was quick to take the heckler head-on and replied, “I missed a few so get your story straight.“

The heckler, in this case, was sulking about a seven-year-old incident that took place during the 2014 race at Talladega. During that race, Harvick apparently caused a multi-car wreck after his car started slowing down on the track. He was well aware that his car was returning to engine problems. However, instead of retiring the car, he attempted to carry on. Soon his car slowed down on the track and as Trevor Bayne attempted to avoid a limping Harvick, his car bumped into the outside wall.

Fans loved Harvick’s direct blunt responses directed toward the heckler. They soon forwarded their appreciation to the veteran driver.

One fan mentioned this to be the reason for Harvick being their favorite driver in the sport. While the others pointed out that they loved his sarcastic response toward the heckler. Another fan mentioned how Harvick apparently has one of the best NASCAR driver Twitter accounts.
