Kentucky makes way for Atlanta on NASCAR Cup Series 2021 schedule
The track announced that it will host its Cup races on March 21st and July 11th. The race from Kentucky Motor Speedway moved to Atlanta. The Quaker State 400, which was the official name of the Kentucky race, will now see the sponsorship move to the Atlanta race. Atlanta will thus hold its first 400-mile race since 1966.
Atlanta also said that it plans to host fans for both races, in a limited capacity, and with social distancing rules in place.
It is widely believed that the casino/entertainment project that could soon be made around the Atlanta Motor Speedway, will get a boost with the announcement of two race weekends.
