The Melon Man is again at the center of all attention. But this time it is for all the good causes. The neck-to-neck fight among the drivers at Nashville Speedway has seemingly enthralled the fans and also the veterans of NASCAR in the same way possible. But what drew the most attention was the victory of Ross Chastain on the track. And this victory was nothing less than a redemption for him.

The Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway, surely proved fruitful for the Trackhouse Racing team. The driver who had faced the wrath not only of the fans and drivers but also of Rick Hendrick for wreaking havoc on the track, and shoving and spinning his driver, finally made it to the top.

The win finally serves its purpose as the perfect reply to all the criticism that was hurled at him. But before gaining his victory, the No.1 Chevrolet driver was completely neutered, and Kenny Wallace delves deep to understand what de-neutered the driver in his latest YouTube video.

Ross Chastain’s ‘De-Neutered’ Nature Can Be Credited to Certain People, Reveals Kenny Wallace

It was just days back when the former crew chief of Hendrick Motorsports, Steve Letarte, had acknowledged that it was the warnings from the HMS team boss that had forced Chastain to keep a low profile on the tracks. He also accepted the fact that a passive Chastain, unfortunately, did not make it to the top 10s of the races.

But it seems that all controversies and conjectures can rest in peace as Chastain finally took his first victory of the season. Nevertheless, Kenny Wallace reveals what could have propelled the driver to victory. Wallace explains, “He [Ross Chastain] was clearly hurt by what, and this his quotes, ‘obviously Rick Hendrick called me out’, naturally, it hurt like hell and he was definitely quiet, I think some people thought that he was neutered, cut his b*lls off. Here, I said it.

Wallace also asserted, “Here I said was he neutered, I think he was neutered but I think he fell himself, I think he found himself again, the agriculture bunch, his family, the race team. But then again he didn’t have to rough nobody up, it was a good win clean race.”

“I am commenting on his victory lane interview, I am not bringing up anything new, he said it was rough, it was hard on him, he was hurt, and you could see it in his face so he overcome that,” the veteran added.

But for Chastain, as Wallace revealed, “It was the Watermelon farmers, the agriculture bunch, those are the ones that kept him going. I think Ross went home to family watermelon farmers that made him keep digging.”

The notion of a neutered Chastain came into the scene after the Sonoma race weekend. Wallace exclaimed that the race was the most boring race of the year. Although in the past weeks, Chastain was the leader of the points board, the incident with Kyle Larson had shut him off completely.

Wallace exclaimed on his show,  “Tongue in cheek. So, everybody, calm down. I told Charlie Marlo, our producer, I said, ‘That was the most boring d*mn weekend.’ We had no fighting. No Ross Chastain. Did we neuter Ross Chastain?”

He further added, “Did he run into anybody? I think he did. But nobody got mad at him (…) Don’t get mad, Hermanator is not being negative, I thought how can we spin this week to have a little fun with it.”

Nonetheless, Ross Chastain is surely over the moon, after grabbing the victory on the oval track. But the question is, whether fans will see the comeback of aggressive Ross Chastain in the upcoming races who will be driving like there is no tomorrow. Or will the passive Chastain be the new face of the driver?
