NASCAR fans recently got to witness one of the most awaited races of the year, the Daytona 500. The atmosphere was thrilling, but can the Daytona 500 end without some on-track chaos? Not really. One of the most talked-about incidents involved Martin Truex Jr, Bubba Wallace, and 23XI Racing’s co-owner Denny Hamlin.
There were a lot of speculations going around as to who was to be blamed for the incident. Later on, it became clear that ironically, it was Hamlin who had wrecked his own car. In the ensuing reactions on social media, a fan ended up comparing Wallace to Danica Patrick.
Though it was not his fault, 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace was at the receiving end of a lot of sarcasm. But recently, he got showered with a lot of positivity. A few pictures were posted by Wallace’s wife Amanda on Instagram recently. The picture’s caption read, “Daytona Dump – We were in position for a top 5 last and barely got caught in the last wreck! So excited to see what this team is gonna do this year!”
