It is safe to say that the Kaulig Racing team was not at all impressed with Kyle Larson. During the Busch Light Clash at the LA Coliseum, the defending champion wrecked Justin Haley out of the race. Naturally, Haley’s spotter Brett Griffin dubbed the move a ‘chicken sh*t’ move. Recently, he appeared on Dirty Mo Media to talk about the incident.

He said, “So, huge restart. Obviously, a lot’s on the line, we have an opportunity to get down. It’s a small hole, we get down. You anticipate getting hit in the a**, we did, we got hit in the a**. We hit Kyle in the a**, and Kyle threw a temper tantrum and wrecked us. Pretty simple.”
What else did Griffin say about Kyle Larson?

Apparently, the #24 of William Byron got into the back of Haley and bumped him into Larson. Evidently, Larson felt that Haley was the primary instigator and exacted his revenge. In light of that, the Kaulig Racing outfit did not appreciate Larson’s sense of justice and made their feelings clear.
Griffin continued, “I was surprised that literally a guy who just won a championship did that. I’m still surprised, I think I’d just call that a punk a**, chicken sh*t move, is what I called it. Having watched those races play out, I think you have to understand that accordion effect thing is going to work. Unfortunately, we caught the bitter end of it, and Kyle lost his temper and he wrecked us.”

Hopefully, the Hendrick Motorsports star and the Kaulig Racing driver iron things out. If all goes well, this incident will be water under the bridge. All said and done, it is best for all parties involved to move on from the incident. Otherwise a never-ending cycle of revenge will only hurt them in the championship battle and their rivals will benefit.
