21-year-old Camping World Truck Series driver Hailie Deegan has been a groundbreaker in many ways. A recipient of NASCAR’s Diversity Young Racer award, Deegan has not been able to find her ground over the last few years.

With just two top 10 finishes to her name, Deegan’s current season does not look good. In fact, in her last race, she made a terrible mistake on the pit road. However, a new announcement on NASCAR on NBC’s Twitter account has left the fans confused.
The tweet contained a picture of Hailie with a caption teasing a big racing announcement by her. Deegan also posted the teaser on her Instagram handle. It was captioned, “Got a big racing announcement that I’m gonna be posting tomorrow afternoon on my YouTube channel! Stay tuned.”
And as soon as the posts went online, fans started guessing if this is a hint toward Deegan joining the Xfinity series. While some others shared their conjectures about her marketability and probable sponsorships she can bring to various racing series, not many fans seemed happy with this decision.
A few Twitter users said that moving Deegan up to a more competitive series might hinder her career. Whereas, some others were happy to see her try something new and exciting.
She will she brings sponsorship, and towards top of development drivers for Ford. Plus Tony Steward has said in the past he likes her driving talent. It's the way racing is if you have the sponsorship and know people you'll get a ride

Why? She still has a long way to go in trucks. Three top 10’s (one of those at Talladega) over the course of two full time seasons is pretty abysmal.

Moving her up is just a death sentence to her career. They do this every time there’s someone “marketable” please allow her to develop naturally. Feel bad for her cause it’s hard to turn down that money but it’s not gonna be helpful to her learning path.

It seems that the fans have to wait for Deegan’s official announcement on her Twitter handle. Although their reactions are a result of Deegan’s mistake in her last race, there are chances that she might benefit from racing in a more competitive series.

In the final phase of the race, Deegan drove to the pit road to get her car fixed. However, she was unable to park her car at the pit stall due to her speed. And this led to her veering into her tire carrier, knocking out the tire from his hands.

The wheel tumbled through the track and many drivers dodged it. However, before it came to rest on the oval’s grass road, the tire carrier ran behind it on a live track. Seeing this as a dangerous act, NASCAR revoked the pit crew personnel’s credentials and ejected him from the property.
