Former NFL coach and broadcaster, John Madden recently passed away at 85. Madden was one of the biggest names in the history of American football: somebody who could be compared to NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon in terms of the impact as an icon and the achievements as a professional.
Both Gordon and Madden achieved incredible things in their career, albeit one’s achievements were more track-oriented and the other’s more off-track.
Regardless, it was a success. Being successful at the level of Gordon and Madden, for as many years as they did, naturally means they earned quite a lot of money, and deservedly so.
